Interpret Your Lucky Dreams Here According To Auspicious Ancient Chinese And Indian Feng Shui Beliefs

clouds.jpg

Good evening, dear friends :D

Today, I was looking for a book when I came upon my old Tung Shu book, also known as “The Ancient Chinese Almanac”.

As I have been collecting many articles over the years on signs and omens, I decided to post here on auspicious and interesting intepretations  of dreams according to ancient Chinese beliefs and Indian Feng Shui for your interest.

I have separated the dreams interpretation into 2 parts – the first one is from the viewpoint of the Chinese Almanac based on beliefs that date back 3,000 years ago,  while the second part is according to Indian Feng Shui or Vasthu Sastera, which is about 2,000 years old.

The Chinese dream interpretation is based on  the writings of Chou Kung, the Duke of Chou, who was supposed to have lived c. 1020 BC, and he was reputed to have assisted in the compilation of the I Ching, one of the most ancient and mysterious of the divination books of China. The dream interpretations associated with him are well known and his name and its link has passed into the language in a number of ways. For example, a person who has been asleep will say that “he has gone to find Chou Kung,” a phrase that we commonly use to refer that we have been asleep and been dreaming!

Check out now the dream references below and see if you have had any of those LUCKY dreams there before. Have fun and Good Luck!

Signs and Omens – What Does The Ringing In Your Ears Mean?

Added on 13 July, 2012 – You may also be interested in another of my post on signs and omens on Dreama ===> Interpret Your Lucky Dreams Here According To Ancient Chinese & Indian Feng Shui Beliefs….for example – “To dream of picking up any money means good fortune

Good morning, dear friends, :D

Continuing from my postings on on Signs and Omens, here are some Chinese interpretations for those times when we experience a sound that goes…”ngee” in our ears and our hearing is impaired momentarily as if there is something like pressure blocking our ear canal. These were taken from the Tung Shu, The Ancient Chinese Almanac which dates back to thousands of years ago from China, when physical sensations in our body were interpreted for fortune telling!

Again, you have to remember when the sensation in the ear started and you refer to the appropriate period of time to get an interpretation of the ear incidence.

Ringing in the Ears

11pm – 1am

If there is ringing in your left ear, this means that your girlfriend or loved one is thinking of you. If in the right ear, then you will lose money.

1am – 3am

In the left ear, this means you will have a quarrel. In the right, then you will have a more serious dispute.

3am – 5am

If there is ringing in the left ear, this means you will lose some money. If the right ear, then you will be rushed off your feet.

5am – 7am

In the left ear, this means you will have a feast. If the right ear, then a friend will come to visit.

7am – 9am

If in the left ear, this means you will go on a journey. If the right ear, then a friend is on its way.

9am – 11am

If there is ringing in the left ear, this means a negative incident may happen. If in the right ear, then all is well (luck is coming).

11am – 1pm

In the left ear, this means that you will receive a letter from far away (hmmm…wonder how this would apply in this modern Internet age these days?). If the right ear, then a relative will come to visit.

1pm to 3pm

In the left year, this means you will have a drink or a feast (party). If the right ear, this means a friend from far away is coming.

3pm to 5pm

In the left ear, this means you are going on a journey. If the right ear, then you can expect a happy event.

5pm – 7pm

In the left ear, this means you will lose money. In the right ear, then you are in for good luck.

7pm – 9pm

If in the left ear, this means you will have a feast. If in the right ear, then a friend is on its way.

9pm – 11pm

In the left ear, this means good luck. If the right ear, then feasting will come your way.

Burning Sensation in Your Ear

I am not sure what exactly this sensation is like as it is not described, and I wonder if those occasional itch in the ears are classified under this. But anyway, watch out for this sensation happening in the time period 11pm to 9am ===> it is very, very auspicious with good things foretold like financial windfall, good luck, good fortune, great feasting….! :D

Signs And Omens – What Do Your Eye Twitches & Tics Mean ??

Added on 13 July, 2012 – You may also be interested in another of my post on signs and omens ===> Interpret Your Lucky Dreams Here According To Ancient Chinese & Indian Feng Shui Beliefs…for example – “To dream of picking up any money means good fortune

Good evening, dear friends, :D

Physical sensations such as eye twitches and tics have been accorded a greater sensation in China than in the West. In the West, there are traditions such as if your ear burns, someone is talking about you, but China has developed a highly complex system of fortune telling based upon these sensations. This post here is based on writing in The Chinese Almanac or Tung Shu and has its history for thousands of years in China.

The most important aspect is to remember when you first felt the sensation. Then refer to the period of time listed below to see what the meaning of this sign is. Please do not take this guide as the gospel truth and actual prediction as it is only a form of beliefs practised in the olden days in China.

11pm – 1am

Twitches or tics in the left eye means a noblemen will come to see you. If the right it means you will be invited to a party or feast.

1am – 3am

If in the left eye, this means that something will happen to worry you. If the right eye, then someone is thinking about you.

3am – 5am

If in the left eye, this means that a friend from afar will come and visit you. If the right eye, this means a happy event awaits you.

5am – 7am

In the left eye, this means that a special guest will come. If in the right eye, then everything will go well.

7am – 9am

In the left eye, this means a close friend will come from afar. If in the right eye, then expect a slight injury.

9am – 11am

In the left eye, this means you will go to a party or feast. If the right eye, you will have a quarrel or a disaster.

11am – 1pm

If the left eye, this means you will eat and drink heartily. If the right eye, beware or there will be a disaster.

1pm – 3pm

In the left eye, this means that you are safe and plans go well. In the right eye, it means that you will have a minor happy event.

3pm – 5pm

In the left eye, it means you will lose money. In the right eye, then you will be thinking of your loved one very much.

5pm – 7pm

In the left eye, this means a guest is coming. This is also true for the right eye, but from far away.

7pm -9pm

In the left eye, this means a guest is coming. In the right eye, it means you will go to a big gathering.

9pm – 11pm

In the left eye, it means that a friend is coming. In the right eye, beware of trouble in court.

Signs and Omens – Part 1

What does a sneeze mean to you? Or an involuntary twitching of your eyebrow? To many, it may be a trivial, everyday occurrence but in the study of omens, it can carry many messages. When I was very young, I remember hearing of many omens and signs from those elderly people……like if your ear is itchy, someone is talking about you, etc..? In all cultures, even dreams can be interpreted to mean something important! :D

I have been collecting many articles over the years on this subject, more out of interest than belief, and I will write a bit on them here. The signs can be auspicious or inauspicious, but for the sake of interest, I will only mention the auspicious ones here! LOL! * twitching of the right side of the neck means happiness and prosperity

* twitching in the left shoulder indicates success

* an itchy head indicates favourable luck

* an itchy chin is prosperity

* an itchy right palm indicates unexpected monetary gain

Other signs

* a lizard falling onto the head, right arm, thighs or waist means gaining wealth somehow

* a lizard falling anywhere onto the left side of a woman or the right side of a man is auspicious

* a lizard falling onto the chest indicates that the property owner will gain wealth and more property

* it is auspicious if a black or grey cat visits a house

* if a cat litters in a house, it is auspicious as it bestows peace, prosperity and good health on the property

* for a cat to follow a property owner when he or she leaves, this means some financial gains

choesf :D
