Simple Remedy For Mental & Physical Exhaustion, Stress

Dear friends, πŸ˜€

Last month, I brought my husband to my healer lady for a massage and reflexology session to help him recover from his mental and physical exhaustion accummulated from his heavy workload in his job. She said my husband was really exhausted and she recommended that I buy half a dozen bottles of Brand’s Chicken Essence. (Please note that I am not being paid or sponsored by Brand’s company but I just thought to let you know that this is a simple and easy remedy for stress and exhaustion).

My husband was to take a bottle of that nutritious chicken essence each day for six days in a row to help him recuperate from his sheer exhaustion – for quite a few weeks, he kept complaining that he woke up in the morning tired and not refreshed at all despite having 8 hours of sleep and that was when I took him to consult this healer lady. After consuming the chicken essence for almost a week, my husband felt much better.

Basically, the chicken essence is just a whole free range chicken that has the skin removed, chopped into pieces and steamed over a low fire for 3 hours. The juices that came from the chicken is known as chicken essence and have lots of nutritional value – the main one is the chicken essence acts as a tonic and rejuvenate our body. It is also known for improving mental alertness! Rather than cooking our own chicken essence at home, we can just buy bottles of them from Chinese Medicine Shops and even supermarkets – they are readily available anywhere in this part of the world.

I remember last time when I went for my first job interview, my mother gave me a bottle of Brand’s Chicken Essence to drink that morning. πŸ˜† When we have friends or relatives who are ill in the hospital, we would visit them, bringing with us a dozen bottles of Brand’s Chicken Essence as a “get well” gift for them. These days, there are many variations of the chicken essence, some with herbs like Tang Kwei (Angelica Root) or Cordyceps added for extra health benefits.

So, if you or your family feel really tired and under weather, remember that there is a simple remedy at hand…..just drink a bottle of chicken essence every day for a week or so! πŸ˜‰ Sometimes, when we are unwell, we tend to forget that there are some really simple and easily available (hehe, like me 😳 and I needed my healer lady to remind me of this! πŸ™„ ) to help make us better! πŸ˜€

    My dear friend! πŸ™‚

It is just like you knew how I feel when posting about this remedy! The problem is that ,in this part of the world, we don’t find the Essence of chicken. I would cook it gladly if you can give me the quantities, because I assume that the key is the concentration level.

Thank you in advance. Hugs, rose πŸ™‚

PS: I’m kind of frustrated not knowing how to use emoticons.Would you teach me? 😦

    Good evening, dearest Rose, πŸ˜€

Hehe, you are doing very well with the emoticons, as you can see, they turned up fine. You need to insert words like lol, wink, sad, shock in between 2 colons, e.g. : …… :

Regarding the homemade chicken essence, if you can find a free range chicken –

    1) wash and wipe dry with paper kitchen towels

    2) remove all the skin and fat

    3) chop into pieces as small as you can

Then, follow the written and visual instructions here –

You don’t need to add any water, and the juices or essence of chicken will come to about one rice bowl full (about slightly more than 1 cup) and this is for one person’s consumption only. This is pure chicken juices (essence). πŸ˜‰

Best is to take this chicken essence warm right before you go to bed at night.

I can assure you that the taste is very flavourful and you need not add any salt or seasoning. πŸ˜‰

    Hope you like it!

    Hugs and love,

        Good evening, dear Stephanie πŸ˜€

I am really sorry that I didn’t get back to you with the recipes and herbs as promised yesterday. 😳 My husband’s favourite aunt has passed away and we are attending her wake for 5 days.

Good news though! I have taken some photos of the herbs to show you. They would be good for making soups to treat your menstruation situation. Heheh, I call these soups, “Women’s Soups,” in my family and my husband and sons will not be able to consume them (too heaty). πŸ˜†

I will be writing a separate (new) post with detailed information these herbs, their recipes and health benefits for you but I will link that post here at the comment box so that you will be able to find and read it. I will also have 2 simple but effective remedies for your arthritic problems. πŸ˜‰

        Bye for now!

Hello there, dear Tang EP πŸ˜€

My healer friend lives in Taman Cuepacs, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. She’s very good and charges RM60 for a one hour session – she will do a whole body massage from head to toes, front and back, cupping, quasar (if necessary) and she uses different oils for different ailments. If you are in KL also and are interested in sending your mom there, let me know and I will email you with her phone number and address. She works from her home and her clients are by referrals only. πŸ˜‰

Hope your mom gets better soon!

With best wishes for good health,

Hello there and welcome, dear Monica πŸ˜€

Thank you for following my blog and for your kind comments. πŸ˜€

I’m sorry to hear of your husband’s ailments. I’m positive my healer friend will be able to bring him much relief. I will email you with her address and phone number. Also, I will let her know in advance to expect some phone calls from my blog visitors. πŸ˜‰

I have some feedback from some people who had went to her and was healed. One of them is my very close friend whom I have known since childhood. She was the person who introduced this healer lady to me 8 years ago.

My family was packing up stuff at home in preparation to move to a new house. In the process, my husband sprained his lower back (he couldn’t bend or straighten his back, he was hunched from the pain) from carrying too many heavy stuff. As we were very busy preparing to move by a certain deadline, my friend quickly brought my husband to see her healer. Wow, my husband was healed after that one session of massage only and he went home perfectly alright and he even continued with our packing.

In my friend’s case, she has been a Type 1 diabetic since she was a child. She started seeing that healer lady about 9 years ago when she was suffering from a frozen shoulder, whereby she couldn’t lift her right arm higher than shoulder level. Western doctors, Tit Da doctors, Chinese physicians, Tui Na experts…all those she had consulted previously said there is no hope nor cure for her frozen shoulder condition. Well, today….her right arm can be used as normal and can be swung all the way to the back of her head! Thanks to regular visits (every 3 weeks) to the healer lady for massage/therapy over a few years. She still go regularly these days for health maintenance. πŸ˜‰

I, too, try to go as regularly as possible to see her like once a month….now, my children are seeing her, too, for health maintenance…usually, they are over-heaty. One of my daughter is seeing her to lose weight and get rid of cellulite, in addition, for good health.

I will email you tomorrow as I have to go find out her actual address. Heheh, I know the way to her home but I don’t know her exact address. 😳

      With best wishes,

      choesf πŸ˜€

      Good afternoon, dear Monica πŸ˜€

No need for apologies there, it’s alright…I got what you meant there anyway. πŸ˜‰

It is very timely that you wrote here, I was about to tell you that I can’t find where I had written down my healer friend’s address. 😳 I thought I had it in my handphone but it wasn’t there. 😳 Heheh, she can’t speak nor write English and so she gave an old Chinese New Year envelope with her address on it for reference. I am going to see her this Friday and will get the address from her again. Meanwhile, I will go look for her address at another spot in my house and if I find it, I will email you immediately. πŸ˜€

      Do have a wonderful day!
