P.S. Did you take part in the Earth Hour 2010 just now? My family did and we turned off the lights at home from 8.30pm to 9.30pm, lit some berry scented candles and has some fun chit chatting in the dark. πŸ˜†

Heheh, thank you for your congratulations and your kind comments. 😳 πŸ˜€

I like to share information that can benefit us in some way, especially if it doesn’t cost much to do so, better if it is free and they are natural remedies. I like you, too, and we can talk a lot about our soups, cleaning, cooking and different cultures. Your country is so beautiful and it cuisine is really healthy and delicious. I know I will visit Japan one day with my family, probably during the beautiful sakura season (hopefully when I am not too old to travel πŸ˜† ) πŸ˜€

        Hello there, dear Lulu πŸ˜€

Oh n, I am so sorry to hear you have the flu and bad cough. I think it must be due to the weather or something….even here in Malaysia, we are having extreme heat mixed with thunderstorms and the humidity level is so high – imagine this ===> I am just standing still and not doing anything and the sweat is just pouring down the sides of my face and I am sweating buckets! I can take up to 4 cold showers a day! πŸ™„ πŸ˜†

You are right – the weather seems to have gone strange this year. It’s too cold for you there and here, it’s unusually hot and humid for us. πŸ™„

Hope you flu is just a temporary thing and your cough is over soon. In just a few days this week, my 4 children all came down with sore throats, fever and flu, one by one. Now only me and my husband are well. πŸ˜‰

Wow, you are so lucky to be staying in Japan and for so long already. My Feng Shui Master’s sister is also married to a Japanese and they have been living in Hokkaido for 20 plus years. I met her and her husband when they came visiting to Malaysia – heheh, her husband had a picture of himself climbing up a ladder to pluck a ripe papaya fruit. πŸ˜€

Yes, if you do come to Malaysia, I would love to meet up with you, too. If I visit Japan (I really want to be there for Sakura or try the hot springs which I often seen on TV πŸ˜† ), I will try to meet you, too. πŸ˜‰

Take care of your health and get well soon, okay?

With best wishes and comforting hugs,

        Hello Choesf,

Thanks for the hugs, I’m feeling better now.
Also my pollar allergy is much better,(sakura and pine trees allergy)
You know I used the enzyme to clean my nose with the cotton buds, I feel better, no more itching.

Also Thanks to Angie for the advice, yes i made oroshi daikon(raddish) feel good for my sore throat, I’m very well now.

Yes, if you come here I will bring you to hot springs, we have lots here in Akita, you’ll enjoy it.
First week of May is Sakura Festivel in Akita, but maybe this year a little bit late because of cold wheather, last week in Tokyo sakura is full bloom, but it’s too cold, and in other places sakura with snow, it’s really weird, but beautiful.

        Take care, always

Good morning from Malaysia, dear Lulu πŸ˜€

I’m really happy you are feeling much better now. Wow, thank you for your offer to bring us around the hot springs in Akita…Japan is one of the major places I want to visit. Will time it around April/May to catch the sakura in bloom! πŸ˜€

Hey, that is a brave tip of using the enzyme from you – to clean your nose for allergies to remove itching. Did you use the enzyme diluted or in concentrated form?

Hmmm…come to think of it, I just remembered last night, I was experiencing a very itchy left ear during sleep. I was too sleepy to do anything and I was wondering what I can apply in my ear to prevent the itchiness which seemed to have disappeared today. Maybe it is a side effect from drinking the vege soup as I had an ear infection many years ago. I shall try putting some diluted enzyme and see.

I tried to get my daughters to eat the raw daikon or drink the salted green bean water for their sore throats which came back after they had finished their antibiotics from the doctor, but they refused. So, I got them to suck on strong Strepsils lozenges instead, which seemed to helped. They said the daikon or green bean water was really yucky for them. πŸ™„

My husband caught the flu and cough a few days ago and now, I am the only “soldier standing up to fight in the battle field” in the family…heheh, the only one that is still healthy. Hope I don’t catch anything from them…I am taking everything I can think of to prevent from getting sick. πŸ˜†

Do have a lovely, relaxing weekend!

    Hello Choesf,

How are you, hope is well now and in good health.
As for me, I’m in good shape now.
Yes I use concentrated enxyme but not brave enough to gurgle it, even i really want to try.
About the raw daicon, grate it clockwise and it will taste a little bit sweet.
I also eat it with grilled fish, put some soy souce, sometimes bacon and eggs in the morning, fresh daicon salad, also shabu-shabu and yakiniku.

The sakura is in full bloom now here in Akita. Sakura is waiting for you.
My sons are here, it’s golden week here in Japan, one whole week holiday.

      Hello there, dear Lulu πŸ˜€

I am well and in good health, thank you. How are you? Ah, you must be enjoying the sakura season in full bloom now. Oh, how I wish I can go there, too. Heheh, just the other day, my youngest daughter, Natasha, who loves everything Japan, told me that we should visit Japan soon…and I couldn’t agree more with her! πŸ˜†

I’m glad you hear your sons are back. It’s so lovely to have one week of holiday there now. Hey, next Sunday it is Mother’s Day! We mothers will get some pampering and loving from our children. πŸ˜€

Thank you for your tip on how to eat raw daikon. I will be sure to grate it clockwise. A few days back, Natasha’s sore throat came back and I cut some thin slices of raw daikon to try with her, as per Angie’s health tip – wow, I didn’t know raw daikon can be so spicy! πŸ˜†

Phew! Finally, I can say my family members are almost fully recovered from their flu, coughs, and sore throats after 2 weeks! Luckily, I didn’t catch their bug and get sick. Today, I got everyone fresh coconut water to drink to keep our body cool in this heaty Malaysian weather. Fresh coconut water is also very good for various stomach problems, according to my healer friend. πŸ’‘

Do have a wonderful weekend with your sons!

No wonder I have not been hearing anything for some time on the vege soup! πŸ˜†

Anyway, I have started a second post HERE for us to continue on any feedback on the soup.

    Good Night from Malaysia!
