Do You Remember “Old Spice” ?

Hi there, dear friends πŸ˜€

I remember when I first met my husband back in the 70’s, he was smelling of “Old Spice” after shave cologne. Since then, he has gone on to other brands and I have forgotten all about “Old Spice”…… until my two teenaged sons asked about it yesterday. When I asked them why the sudden interest, my youngest son Daryl showed me these two Youtube videos – they are really hilarious and I had a good laugh. πŸ˜†

Today, I have asked my husband to go get some “Old Spice” for him and our sons! πŸ™„ πŸ˜†

Please note that I am not being paid to advertise Old Spice here but seeing their advertisements have brought me back to memory lane on my dating days with my husband. πŸ˜€

Do have a wonderful day!

With best wishes,

P.S. For some reasons, Old Spice toiletries are not available nowadays in Malaysia. πŸ˜₯

May have to buy it online or in the neighbouring countries, like Singapore. πŸ™„

Hi there ! Yes, I do remember good “Old Spice”. I used to apply “Old Spice” after my morning shave and rubbed it on my chin before I go to work. You get that sort of cool feeling. “Old Spice” was the better brand available in my time. I am now happily retired for over twenty years !
    Cheers ! Have a wonderful day !

Hi there and welcome, dear Happy πŸ˜€

Thank you for sharing your “Old Spice experience.” It’s too bad it’s no longer available here in Malaysia. I do miss its refreshing smell on my husband! I got the “Brut After Shave Cologne” for him instead these days. πŸ˜†

Do have a wonderful day! πŸ˜€

Hi there. i just stumbled upon your awesome site. these commercials are hilarious. the actor is super handsome :). old spice brings back memories of my father…love the scent. i was browsing your remedies and am really interested in trying out your wine tonic. i have some health problems and am not a fan of pharmaceuticals. this tonic sounds like something i would love to try except that i cannot consume alcohol. after 60 days, is there alcohol content? thank you for your wonderful posts…your site just might be a God send. πŸ™‚

Thank you for your kind comments. πŸ˜€

Heheh, I told my husband he needs to get some Old Spice again! Yes, that commercial was absolutely hilarious! πŸ˜†

The wine tonic will still have a strong alcohol content after the 60 days maturity. I have another 10 days to go before I can go sample my wine tonic and see how it does as a tonic for health. πŸ˜‰

My father and brothers swear by Old Spice (called Old Spikky by them heheh) for tinea on the foot. My sister uses it on her acne and these strange lumps she gets on her face and they just fall off in a few days after repeat applications. Just thought you might like to know that it works.

Thank you for your comments on Old Spice. Wow, I didn’t know they can be used for other purposes other than as a cologne. πŸ’‘ πŸ˜†

Hey, every time I think of old spice, it remind me of my late dad! Sadly, they don’t sell old spice after shave here in Malaysia anymore!

      Hi there, Rashdan πŸ˜€

Yes, the Old Spice after shave cologne sure brings back old memories. I last bought it for my husband from the Cold Storage Supermarket in Jaya One, Petaling Jaya. So, you may be able to find it at their other branches as well.

      With best wishes,
